Have been taking the opportunity during "Lock down" over the last few months to revise and recheck information found on past research.
Charles' history is quite mysterious.
1, There is a census image 1841 on the site which I don't remember adding but perhaps I must have done. When looking at this image on OFH site, even though a magnifier has to be used, his name cannot be found!! What's more, mysterious as there is page after page of blank names on 1841 census.
2. Any other information found is pure guess work, and I don't feel confident about adding it. He could possibly have married a Sarah Smith in 1846 in Wantage but any information on censuses describes him as being born in West Challow, this is on 1851 census.
