Notes:

After sharing a few emails with Deboroh Fracaro from Australia, between us we have a little more knowledge about Alfred but there still remain some unanswered questions.
Alfred's wife, Florence, was Deborah's great grandmother, this association not through Alfred but Florence's second marriage. It is uncertain whether Alfred and Florence divorced or if Alfred died before her second marriage.
Alfred travelled a lot and Florence had no idea of his whereabouts.
Dad's notes describe Alfred as a mystery man with a mercurial temperament imbibed with his father's (Harry) wandering spirit. He was heard of from time to time in such places as Fiji, South Africa and Rhodesia. In 1967 when dad wrote these notes it was not known where he was or when he had died.
Have found a few possible travel links.
At this stage it is uncertain that Gordon is his child with Florence, awaiting certificate.
